Construction Process



Here we will explain in detail the steps that are involved in executing a kitchen remodel. We believe it's best for you to understand the process from start to finish so there will be less uncertainty and a better comfort level. Our ultimate goal is to make you, our customer pleased and confident with your decision to chose us.

Before any work begins all the selections (cabinets, tile, backsplash, hardware, etc) must have been made and all products must be stored on site.

1. Permit application completed by NJ Kitchens and Baths
2. Permit approval, post permit on front door of home
3. Provide lockbox (if needed)
4. Protect floors, stairs, door openings
5. Demolition and removal of construction debris
6. Framing
7. Plumbing Rough
8. Electrical Rough
9. Rough Inspection (construction, plumbing, electrical and fire)
10. Insulation
11. Insulation inspection
12. Sheetrock
13. Flooring
